1. First-Letter Shorthand

While listening, jot down just the first letter of each word on your erasable booklet (e.g. “T u l w r o”). Expand the full sentence immediately after.

2. Check Singular / Plural

Review verb agreement (“student submits” vs “students submit”). About 70% of lost marks in WFD come from missing or wrong “s” endings.

3. Capital + Full Stop

Always capitalize the first letter and proper nouns. Always end with a period. These are free marks that many students throw away.
